SATURDAYS ON BROADWAY! 

Stop by our weekly summer concert series, Saturdays on Broadway.  These FREE concerts are held EVERY Saturday afternoon from noon to 2pm in the parking lot near City Place.  Come out and enjoy local, regional talent all summer long!

June 12th- Frostburg Community Pool opens

 

 

July 4TH- 35th Annual Soap Box Derby Day: Celebrate our country's independence day with a family-focused, fun-filled day of Soapbox racing, good food and good company.

 

July 13th- Frostburg's Pirates Ahoy!: AHOY all you Pirates!  Join us for a fun-filled day of activities such as face-painting, sidewalk art, a treasure hunt, costume contest, store visits and storytelling.  For information, contact the FSU Children's Literature Centre @ 301-687-3133. 

 

September 1ST- Crusin' Main Street: Relive those wonderful days of Rock n' Roll, crusin' Main Street, boppin at the Malt Shop, and just hanging out in your cool car.  You'll find it all at the Annual Cruisin' Main Street.  During this evening of yesteryear, cars are "cherry" and cruisin' is "too cool".  So, shine your Chevy, detail your Deuce Coupe, hustle your Hot Rod or just bring your chair -- it will be a blast from the past for everyone!   

 

 

September 17th- Appalachian Festival

 

 

October 2nd- Fall Arts Walk: Enjoy a self-guided walking tour of downtown Frostburg’s Arts & Entertainment District!  The ArtsWalk features gallery openings, theatre performances, live music at several downtown locations, hands-on art projects on the Arts Bus, shopping and dining at some of the area’s finest establishments.  Enjoy!  

 

October 27th- Halloween Parade: Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy our Annual Halloween Parade.  You may even get a "Treat not a Trick"  from one of our spooky floats!

 

 

 December 3rd- 8th Annual Storybook Holiday: Bundle up and celebrate the holiday season!  Start your day off with a Breakfast with the Elves, watch a magical parade, cheer on your favorite elves during Elf Olympics, be the judge of the Cookie Contest and enjoy a full day of in-store activities and restaurant specials.  Then sit back with friends & family and enjoy a classic holiday movie at the Palace Theatre.
